EFZ urges sensitization on referendum in Churches

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has encouraged Church leaders to sensitize their members on the need to vote in the referendum which will be held alongside the general election.

EFZ Executive Director Reverend Pukuta Mwanza says pastors and other leaders are also encouraged where possible to educate their members on the contents of the Bill of Rights so that people vote from an informed point of view.

Reverend Mwanza says several meetings have so far been held to strategize how this agenda can be infiltrated in church programs for speedy progress over the matter.

He says church members are being urged to vote ‘Yes’ in the referendum.

Reverend Mwanza notes that the referendum is an important undertaking deserving serious attention by everyone.
