Kakoma Kanganja
Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja has called on all stakeholders to work together in ensuring electoral integrity.
Mr. Kanganja says peaceful and credible elections are the responsibility of all, and not only the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
He says there is need for all political parties and the public to abide by the rules governing the conduct of elections in the country.
Mr Kanganja says the Police will not hesitate to apply the law on persons who would want to create trouble before, during and after the elections.
The Inspector General of Police has also urged Police officers to remain fair and firm in the discharge of their duties by collaborating to ensure information sharing is maximized to maintain law and order during the elections.
