Gun shots were fired at St Patricks Primary Schools in Lusaka

Gun shots were fired at St Patricks Primary Schools in Lusaka the venue for the filing in of nominations for the Kabwata constituency.

And six candidates have successfully filed in nominations for the Kabwata parliamentary seat.

According to some PF cadres who had escorted party candidate Given Lubinda, Independent candidate Clement Tembo allegedly discharged his firearm after he was confront for distributing PF campaign material outside the nomination centre.

Kaoma Chomba a member of the PF youth said he saw Mr Tembo fire his gun, adding that an empty bullet cartridge was also recovered on the scene.

But when contact Mr Tembo denied firing a gun.

He instead accused his opponent Given Lubinda sending the people who fired the gun.

Meanwhile six candidates have successfully filed in their nominations for the Kabwata parliamentary seat.

These PF candidate Given Lubinda,UPND’s Mulenga Sata,FDD’s Joseph Njovu,Rainbow party’s Simon Mulimo and independent candidates Micheal Zulu and Clement Tembo.
