Alliance with PF is restricted to supporting Lungu- Nakachinda

The opposition MMD has dispelled media reports suggesting that it is embroiled in confusion with the ruling PF over the adoption process.

MMD National Secretary Raphael Nakachinda tells Qfm News that the working alliance between the MMD and PF is restricted to supporting President Edgar Lungu’s candidature.

Mr. Nakachinda says the MMD will field its own candidates for all contested positions apart from the presidency.

He says it is therefore malicious to suggest that the MMD and PF are entangled in confusion over the adoption process.

Mr. Nakachinda says the working relationship between the MMD and PF is intact.

Meanwhile, Mr Nakachinda the party will soon announce successful candidates to contest for various elective positions in the forthcoming general elections.
