Lungu an exceptional leader – PF

The ruling Patriotic Front says President Edgar Lungu’s exceptional qualities is what is attracting more opposition members to defect to the party ahead of the August general election.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says the new members the ruling PF is receiving are a clear demonstration that President Lungu is a leader whose qualities are irresistible.

Mr. Bwalya says this also explains why under the PF government, rural areas such as Chisamba District have continued seeing private sector driven development because investors have confidence in President Lungu’s leadership.

He was speaking this morning in Katuba constituency where over 250 UPND members defected to the ruling PF.

And speaking on behalf of other defectors, Vernon Chembe disclosed that the entire UPND Katuba ward committee has defected to the PF because of among other things the manner in which the adoption processes are being done in the UPND.
