The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has disclosed that it will launch a campaign next month, to compel motorists to drive their vehicles with their lights-on during the day.

RTSA Head of Public Relations Fredrick Mubanga tells QFM News that the campaign is aimed at increasing drivers’ alertness while on the road.

Mr. Mubanga says the campaign, dubbed “Vehicle Light on Road Safety Campaign”, is one of the measures aimed at reducing the occurrence of road accidents.

He says the campaign will target Public Services Vehicles first, before being rolled out to other vehicles on the highways and other roads.
