CAPIZ advocates for price controls

The Christians against Poverty in Zambia (CAPIZ) says there is need to introduce price controls in Zambia like in many other countries.

CAPIZ Director Evangelist Gregory Chileshe says it is unacceptable that a product can be cheaper at one sales point and extremely high at another.

Evangelist Chileshe says the country’s free market economy is making the economy appear difficult to manage.

He stresses that the free market economy has highly contributed to the high cost of living in the country.

Evangelist Chileshe says there is need to urgently address the high cost of living so that the poor majority Zambians can afford.
