PMRC sees need for massive sensitization on referendum

Policy Monitoring and Research Centre (PMRC) says there is need for massive sensitization on the referendum if it is to be a success.

PMRC Head of Monitoring and Evaluation, Salim Kaunda says the people have to be educated on the referendum so that they know what they will be voting for.

Mr. Kaunda says as things stand, people do not know what the referendum is and its contents, adding that failure to educate them may also result in a low voter turnout.

He has since reminded Zambians that voting is their right thus the need for them to participate in the process.
