Going forward ballot papers will be printed locally

Works and Supply Minister Yamfwa Mukanga has reassured Zambians that going forward ballot papers will be printed locally.

Mr. Mukanga says 98 percent of works have so far been done at the Government Printers to enable the facility print ballot papers.

Stakeholders have raised concerns over the decision by the Electoral Commission of Zambia to print ballot papers for August 11th election in Dubai, with some wondering why ballot papers cannot be printed locally.
