ECZ is not to blame for registering foreigners – Tayali

The Zambian Voice says reports suggesting that foreigners were registered as voters should not be dismissed or taken lightly.

Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says if these reports are true, the outcome of the elections will not reflect the wishes of the Zambian people.

Mr. Tayali says his organization intends to conduct its own investigation to ascertain the facts as to whether the reports of foreigners being included in the voters’ register are true or not.

He has however; observed that the inclusion of foreigners in the voters’ register could not have been the doing of the ECZ.
