Chief Nsamba of the Unga speaking people has challenged politicians to refrain from violence and concentrate on issue based campaigns.

Speaking in an interview with QFM News, Chief Nsamba says political must ensure they stick to their party manifesto as they conduct their campaigns because Zambians need development.

He says politicians must tell the electorates what they will do if voted in power in order to help electorates make informed decision as the country goes to the polls.

He notes that Zambians are not interested in violent campaigns because the country has enjoyed peace since time in memorial.

Meanwhile Federation Free of Trade Unions in Zambia, President Chingati Msiska has urged its members not to engage in partisan politics.

Mr. Msiska says while his union supports the government of the day it will however not allow politicians to use it has a tool of violence or settling scores.

He has since urged union members to be conscious in manner they conduct themselves during this period.
