Energy Minister Dora Siliya says the oil deal that President Edgar Lungu signed in Saudi Arabia this week will come as a finished product.
And Ms Siliya says the oil deal is not a campaign gimmick as perceived by some people.
Ms Siliya says a delegation from Saudi Arabia will be in the country this week to finalize the deal and supply Zambians with cheaper fuel.
She says government is determined to endure that people are supplied with cheaper fuel so as to reduce the cost of living among the people.
