Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) has cautioned Ministers against falling into the temptation of using Government resources in political campaigns.
TIZ is urging Ministers to heed to President Edgar Lungu’s call for them not to abuse public resources.
Executive Director Goodwell Lungu says his organization expects Ministers not to use government vehicles, equipment or office space for political campaign activities.
And Mr. Lungu says TIZ expects all contenders in the forthcoming general election to respect the rule of law and abide by the electoral code of conduct.
He says candidates should be mindful that malpractices during this period of campaigns will have consequences after the elections.
