AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani says they are combining house-to-house visits, organization of workshops, radio and focus discussions to assist the people to have better understanding of the electoral laws.

Mr. Mulwani pointed out that it is by so doing that all could be expected to play by the rules of the game.

He told qfm news that it is determined to go to every length to overcome voter apathy and remove needless tension ahead of the polls.

He expressed discomfort with the huge number of spoilt and rejected ballots seen in every election and said it would work with all stakeholders to deal with that.

This, he noted, was important because that had the potential to push the election into a run off.
