MMD in Central province ready for convention

The opposition MMD in Central Province says whether MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba likes it or not, the party is going to the convention next week.

MMD Central Province Chairman George Kangwa says the party membership in the province is more than ready to go to the convention and not a single person can stop them now.

Mr. Kangwa has told QFM News via telephone that he has visited Kabwe’s Rock of Authority where the convention will be held and everything is in place ahead of the convention starting next week Friday.

He says even Dr. Mumba is invited to be part of the convention but that if he insists that the party is not going to the convention, then he will be disappointed because another president will be elected.

Mr. Kangwa says Dr. Mumba should not take the part affairs as his personal matters saying it is not his political party alone.
