Chief Government Spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili has warned UPND vice president for Administration Geoffrey Mwamba to stop
people to rise against the Government.
In a statement, Dr Kambwili says Mr. Mwamba’s statement in today’s edition of the Post that people should effect a citizen’s arrest on ministers that have remained in office after the dissolution of Parliament is tantamount to inciting people to rise against government.

He warns Mr Mwamba not to dare government over his own ignorance on the constitution.
Dr Kambwili says it is not government’s fault that Mr Mwamba is incapable of understanding straight forward provisions in the constitution.
He states that Mr Mwamba’s statement is careless,unreasonable and a blatant lack of understanding of the constitution.
Dr Kambwili has reiterated that government under President Edgar Lungu will not waiver on its resolve to uphold the constitution in the governance of the country.
