Hamayuwa urges youths to take politics as a career

Young people in the country have been urged to take politics as a career for a better future of Zambia as statistics shows that youth are not active in the field.

National Youth Network on Population & Development (NYPD) Public Relations Manager Felix Hamayuwa notes that taking part in politics is the only means young people can influence decisions and policies.

He says time has come for young people in the country to rise above their fears and proactively start taking politics as a career.

Mr. Hamayuwa explained that youth cannot be recognized if they still shun politics.

He emphasized that the situation is much worse among the youths if not addressed the youth empowerment campaign shall be a hopeless dream for Zambian political parties, Southern African Development Community, African Union and at the global level.
