Lusaka District Commissioner Captain Davies Mulenga has pledged his support to ensure that, people in the district continue to enjoy the peace that they are enjoying before, during and after the August 11th general elections.
Captain Mulenga says Zambia is larger than any political party or individual so he will not allow anybody to cause instability for the people to suffer in the district.
He says he will do everything possible to diffuse any political tension in the District.
Captain Mulenga says government is doing all it can to bring development to the area, and called on the people to support the efforts that government is putting in place to ensure that, the District catch up with other District in terms of development.
He also challenged the youth not to allow themselves to be used as tools to torment violence by politicians because of the coins that they will give them.
Captain Mulenga has also urged the youths not to allow yourselves to be influence by anybody either by using monies or material thing for you to create any troubles.
