Patriotic Front Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says the UPND’s popularity will be tested in the next three months.
And Mr. Bwalya has alleged that the UPND has released huge sums of money to pay people faking to be defecting to their party ahead of the August 11th General Elections.
Mr. Bwalya says all the people who are paid to be faking the defections will not even vote for the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema because they just want to eat his money and leave.
He says it is should click in the minds of the UPND that the people who are defecting are going alone without being accompanied by anyone when in the actual sense they may have some followers.
Mr. Bwalya cites that when former Lusaka Province Minister Mulenga Sata went to file in his application for the executive mayor position, he went to the secretariat with a huge following but wondered why he was not accompanied by the same followers when he was joining the UPND.
