Police in Lusaka are holding a 26 year old woman of Mtendere compound for suspected murder.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga-Chanda has told QFM that Elizabeth Lungu-Nkhoma was apprehended and detained on 3rd May, 2016 in connection with the murder of her 33 year old husband Anthony Nkhoma.
Ms. Chanda says the deceased sustained a deep cut and human bite on the chest.
She explains that it is suspected that the deceased was stabbed after fighting with the wife around 21:00 hours on 2nd May, 2016.
Ms Chanda says the body of the victim is lying in the UTH mortuary awaiting postmortem.
