Govt urged to motivate workers

Government has been urged to address challenges facing workers in the country in order to motivate them to work hard and help develop the country.

Confederation of Trade Unions in Zambia (COTUZ) President Joe Kamutumwa says government should strive to create better working conditions for workers.

He says government should make sure that everyone who is employed is happily rewarded.

Mr. Kamutumwa says this gives motivation to workers to work even harder thereby benefiting the country.

And Mr. Kamutumwa has taken a swipe at some employers who are exploiting workers by paying them to what he termed as peanuts.
