The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Dispute (SACCORD) says the country will not make progress on the Barotseland Agreement of 1964 if it detaches politics from the issue.

SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Chembe however, states that it is dangerous to politicize the issue of the Barotseland Agreement.

Mr. Chembe tells QFM News that the issue of the Barotseland Agreement is one of the most outstanding sources of conflict in the country that needs constructive engagement in resolving.

He says the call that politicians should stay away from this issue is not the solution as the case requires political will to resolve.
