The opposition UPND has warned it cannot guarantee peace after the August 11th general elections if transparency and fairness is not upheld in the process leading up to the elections.
UPND presidential advisor Douglas Syakalima says there has to be a leveled playing field for all political parties taking part in the forthcoming elections.
Mr. Syakalima says it is thus incumbent upon the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to ensure that the processes leading to the elections are fair and open.
