ECZ urged to redo tendering process for printing of ballot papers

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has been advised to consider redoing the tendering process for printing of ballot papers for this year’s general elections.

Political analyst Chris Zumani Zimba is urging the ECZ to do so in consideration of the concerns that have been raised by various stakeholders in the electoral process.

Mr. Zimba has urged the ECZ to be wary that it is only increasing the level suspicions if it insists on printing ballot papers in Dubai.

He has since advised the ECZ to call for a meeting with political parties.
