Ifintu ni LunguPresident Edgar Lungu has assured all foreigners in Zambia of full protection of their lives and property.

President Lungu has further assured all foreigners and the nation in general that the isolated disturbances in some townships in Lusaka have ended.

In a statement made available to Qfm News by his Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations President Lungu says people can now go about their lives freely.

President Lungu has however warned of decisive action against anyone perpetrating any criminality in the Country.

He has since has directed security services to remain on full alert and take quick and stern action against anybody perpetrating acts of violence, incitement, and reckless rumor mongering.

The Head of State does not want people to be misled into venting their anger against foreigners.

And President Lungu has disclosed that no foreigner has been killed in the recent riots that followed a spate of ritual murders in Lusaka’s Matero and Zingalume townships.

He notes that only two Zambians died in the consequent riots namely Julius Kazungo ,47, a teacher from Zambezi High School and another male yet to be formally identified.
