Power Dynamos’ recover process continues this Saturday when they host Forest Rangers at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

The struggling six-time champions are looking to stay unbeaten for a third straight game, after picking up four points from their last two fixtures to ease the pressure on under-fire coach Tennant Chilumba.

Power head into the home game a week after a scoreless away draw against Lusaka Dynamos that saw them move from seventh to sixth place at the end of Week 6.

Interestingly, a win for Power on Saturday, and draws or losses for the top five teams active this weekend, could see them sneak into second place.

Despite their poor start to the campaign, Power are just three points behind second-placed Nakambala Leopards on seven and nine points respectively.

Chilumba will be banking on another good home showing from new boy Fwayo Tembo in front of an expectant home crowd following his memorable debut in the 1-0 win over Red Arrows on April 9 at Arthur Davies in which he was the architect of the goal.

Meanwhile, Forest are languishing down in 14th place on five points and will be hoping to bounce back from their 1-0 away loss at Arrows in Lusaka last weekend.

Forest head to Kitwe still without a league win at Power since September 28, 2011 when they beat the Kitwe side 1-0.

Since then, Forest have picked up a draw and two straight defeats at Arthur Davies heading into Saturday’s fixture.
