MMD National Secretary Mwansa Mbulakulima says it’s not true that the High Court dismissed the application for a consent order to pave way for the MMD convention.

Mr. Mbulakulima says the truth of the matter is that an application for a consent order is before the constitutional court which is not yet operational.
He explains that the consent order which has been applied for is between Lunte Member of Parliament Felix Mutati and others and him as MMD National Secretary.
Mr. Mbulakulima has told QTV News that party president Nevers Mumba was therefore merely shifting attention from his recently dismissed application for an injunction against party members pushing for a convention when he claimed at a media briefing that the application for consent order had been thrown out.
Mr. Mbulakulima states that Dr. Mumba did not want people to know that all five grounds upon which he applied for an injunction where dismissed as baseless by the High Court.
