Irish envoy confident of peaceful polls

Irish Ambassador to Zambia Seamus O’Grady is confident the ECZ will conduct credible elections

Irish Ambassador to Zambia Seamus O’Grady is confident the Electoral Commission of Zambia will conduct credible elections.

Mr. O’grady notes that this is especially that the Commission has a tradition of conducting peaceful and credible elections.

And Mr. O’grady says the Irish government is ready to help Zambia conduct peaceful elections in August.

Zambia goes to the polls on August 11^th to elect a president, Members of Parliament, Councillors, Mayors and Council Chairpersons.
