Residents of Zingalume and George compounds in Lusaka this morning ran amok looting shops belonging to foreigners who they accuse of being behind the recent spate of suspected ritual killings.
A QFM News crew that rushed to the area found four shops had been looted on suspicion that the owners who are from Rwanda are involved in the recent killings in the area.
The residents took whatever they could lay their hands on from the shops including bags of mealie meal, juice, sugar and many other items.
They have since demanded that government facilitates the deportation of the foreigners in area.
One of the residents Jack Kasonde says they also want the Police to reveal who the suspects they arrested in connection with the killings are, failure to which they will continue to loot shops.
And Police officers have been deployed to the area to bring the situation under control.
