Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba has advised political players to refrain from issuing statements that border on Zambia’s relations with other countries.

Mr. Kalaba says it is regrettable that a celebrated diplomat such as Dr. Vernon Mwaanga could bring Uganda into the debate on the printing of ballot papers for the August 11 elections in Dubai.
He says it is not inconformity with good international practice to name and bring into dispute political processes of other countries.
Mr. Kalaba says his ministry regrets that these utterances were made considering that Zambia and Uganda maintain good bilateral relations based on mutual interests and respect.
The Foreign Affairs Minister has since appealed to political players to avoid bringing other countries in Zambia’s political processes.
