Kitwe District Commissioner Chanda Kabwe
Kitwe District Commissioner Chanda Kabwe has declared Kitwe as a violence free zone ahead of the August 11th general election.
Mr. Kabwe says all political parties must be allowed to freely campaign without hindrances.
He says President Edgar Lungu has made it very clear that that those who want to perpetrate violence will be dealt with by the long arm of the law.
Mr. Kabwe says he will therefore not allow anyone in Kitwe to disturb campaigns of any political party.
He has warned that anyone who will threaten or intimidate any political leader who goes to campaign in the District will be considered a criminal.
