Presidential Prayer Team conducts prayers against road accidents

The Presidential Prayer Team today conducted prayers along the highway between Lusaka and Kapiri Mposhi road to pray against road traffic accidents on the road.

The team is being led by State House Chaplain, Assistant Superintendent Atlas Kamwambi.

The team which also comprises of Road Transport and Safety Agency -RTSA officers is conducting prayers along the highway in a bid to anoint the Zambian roads as a way of preventing road traffic accident through God’s intervention.

The prayers comes in a wake of a spate of road traffic accidents that the country has faced in the recent past.

The team is expected to conduct similar prayers next week Tuesday along the Lusaka-Livingstone road.

And the RTSA has called on the church to pray against road traffic accidents in the country.

This is contained in a statement issued by RTSA Senior Public Relations Manager Fredrick Mubanga.
