Suspended MMD Spokesperson Raphael Nakachinda has described as blackmail the move by MMD President Nevers Mumba to extend an olive branch to members who have been suspended or expelled with a condition that they sign a covenant declaring their royalty to the party.
Mr. Nakachinda says what Dr. Mumba want is to blackmail all those who have been challenging him over the convention so that he remains at the helm of the party.
He states that Dr. Mumba should follow what is stipulated in the party constitution by going to the convention which is scheduled for this year.
Mr. Nakachinda says the term of office of all party leaders has come to an end thus the need to go to the convention before the general election.
