The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ) has advised political party leaders desist from making allegations of vote rigging ahead of the August 11 elections as they have the capacity to create chaos in the country.

Council President Suzyo Zimba says political party leaders should be mindful of what they say as some of their supporters may not take such statements lightly.

Mr. Zimba says if any leader has such sensitive information, they will do well to engage the Electoral Commission of Zambia and other relevant government agencies.

He says Zambia cannot afford to have confusion just after elections as a result of statements issued by politicians suggesting the elections will be rigged.
