Lusaka Dynamos coach Perry Mutapa is upbeat over prospects for the 2016 Faz Super League season after making an improved start to the campaign.

Dynamos are 12th and have 4 points from as many matches with a game in hand to better their start in the 2015 season when they were promoted back to the Faz Super League when they finished 13th.

“In terms of points we have started better than last season because by this time last season we had two points but this time we have four points,” Mutapa said who is entering his third season at the helm after leading Dynamos to promotion last term.

“By this time last year, we had never won any game but this time around we have won, drawn and tasted two defeats. We just need to score and not concede a lot of goals.”

Dynamos only win came away on March 12 on the opening day of the 2016 season when they beat promoted Mufulira Blackpool away in Kitwe.

They took the just-ended Week 5 off because hosts Zanaco had a 2016 Confederation Cup engagement over the same period.

Dynamos return to action this Saturday when they host seventh placed Power Dynamos in a Week 6 fixture at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.
