Police Inspector General Kakoma Kanganja announced the offer today when he inspected Mwembeshi police post in George Compound which was  set ablaze by protesting residents after four bodies were discovered in the area with private parts and ears cut off.

And Mr. Kanganja has urged members of the public to stop taking the law in their hands.

He has asked people to realize that the burning of police infrastructure will only promote criminality in the communities as it will be difficult and costly to do patrols from long distances.

Mr. Kanganja has encouraged the residents to instead engage the police whenever they are aggrieved over any matter.

Meanwhile Mr. Kanganja has directed all patrol officers to be on high alert and bring to book people behind ritual killings in the country.

And Mwembeshi ward councilor Crispin Kabole commended the police for providing patrols in the area aimed at preventing more crimes.
