Twenty five people died after a Wada Chovu Lusaka bound bus collided with an oncoming Mercedes Benz Minibus at a place called Manyumbi near Kabwe on the Great North Raod.

The accident is said to have happened when the Wada Chovu Bus attempted to avoid a stationed truck but ended up being in another lane in which it collided with an oncoming Mercedes Benz.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga has confirmed the accident to Qfm News in a statement that among the dead are 3 juviniles and 21 adults.
The bodies of the deceased are lying in Kabwe hospital mortuary awaiting identification and postmortem.
