The Commuters Rights Association of Zambia (CRAZ) is saddened that lives have continued to be lost through accidents involving public service transport.
Commenting on the accident in which six people died when the Mazhandu Family bus overturned on Monday along the Kabwe Kapiri Mposhi road, Association President Aaron Kamuti notes that most of the accidents involving public service vehicles are avoidable if only drivers adhere to road safety rules.
Mr. Kamuti says there is need for bus operators to compliment the Road Transport and Safety Agency in bringing sanity on the road.
He has further appealed to bus operators to always concentrate on the road to avoid accidents and safeguard the lives of the passengers.
