Former Church of God overseer Bishop John Mambo has advised those aspiring candidates in the forthcoming elections to be honest and humble themselves before the Zambian people.

Bishop Mambo says God opposes the proud and will lift the humble thus it is important for anyone aspiring to be a leader to be humble and not look down on others regardless of one’s past.
Bishop Mambo says God can use any person regardless of who they are in society or what they have been through.
He adds that those in the ruling party and the opposition should not behave as though they have already won the elections because they do not know what is going on in the minds of the people of Zambia.
Bishop Mambo has since expressed confidence that the people of Zambia will make the best choices when electing their leaders so that they do not regret afterwards.
