PF, UPND will remain strong after elections – Ng’oma

Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma says it is too early to state that whichever political party between the ruling PF and opposition UPND will lose the elections will become weaker.

Dr. Ng’oma tells QFM News via telephone that both political parties have the potential and capacity to remain stronger parties after the August 11th general elections despite losing the polls.

Dr. Ng’oma says it is still not clear which political party will win the elections despite positive indicators from both parties of performing well in the forthcoming polls considering that the elections will be highly contested by the two giant political parties.

He says the two giant political parties will still have the capacity to provide checks and balances on the party in government and provide the necessary pressure on government.
