Mutati urges reviving of MMD’s political fortunes

Lunte MMD Member of Parliament (MP) Felix Mutati says there is need for leadership of the MMD to focus on reviving the party’s political fortunes.

Mr. Mutati says this will set the stage for a stronger MMD which people would look to as an alternative to the ruling Patriotic Front.

He says the MMD is still a formidable force in the political landscape of the country despite the setbacks the party has suffered in the recent past.

Mr. Mutati states that with unity, perseverance and democracy of accommodating divergent views, the former ruling party would bounce back recover.

He says the party leadership should put the interest of the party first before their own and listen to the demands of the general membership of the party as opposed to being dictators.
