JCTR sees no change in people’s lives under PF

The Jesuit Center for Theological Reflection (JCTR) has observed that there has not been any significant change in the lives of the Zambian people since the Patriotic Front came to power in 2011.

JCTR Executive Director Leonard Chiti notes that a lot of people across the Country are still suffering.

Father Chiti says this is however, against what the governing party promised in its 2011 campaigns that it would transform people’s lives.

He says he recalls reading the PF manifesto of 2011 to 2016 where it states that Zambians do not only deserve a better life, but are entitled to a better life.

Father Chiti states that it is important for the people of Zambia to revisit this commitment by the Patriotic Front five years down the line.

He says Zambians should ask themselves the question of whether they are in fact living a better life or not especially as the August 11th general election draws near.
