The Ministry of Home Affairs has warned that all registered societies including political parties which have not paid their statutory obligations face deregistration in the first week of April.
Ministry Spokesperson Moses Suwali says all registered societies operating in the country are required to pay statutory fees in accordance with the Registrar of Societies Act.
Mr. Suwali states societies which will be owing money by the first week of April 2016 will be deregistered.
Mr. Suwali says a number of registered organizations operating in the country are not up to date with regards the payment of statutory fees.
