EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia has urged leaders in the country to be true servants of the people.
EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says Jesus Christ had demonstrated that a leader must be a servant of the people when he washed the feet of his disciples.
Reverend Mwanza says leaders at various levels can do the same by serving the people who put them into leadership.
He laments that some leaders once elected think and feel they are masters of the people when in the actual sense; a true leader is a servant of the people.
And Reverend Mwanza has encouraged Zambians to emulate Christ’s love for mankind.
He says people should also use the Easter period to reflect on how they have lived their lives and see what they need to do differently.
The EFZ Executive Director says people should not take Easter lightly because it is a very important period.
