Collins Mbesuma is among the first of five foreign-based players to arrive in the Zambia camp on Monday ahead of Wednesday’s 2017 Africa Cup Group E qualifier at home against Congo Brazzaville.

The Mpumalanga Black Aces striker together with defender Davies Nkausu of Free State Stars arrived at midday in Ndola where the top-of-the-log Group E match will be played on Wednesday night.

Also in is the DR Congo trio of defender Kabaso Chongo, midfielder Nathan Sinkala and Zambia captain Rainford Kalaba who all play for TP Mazembe.

Defender Stopilla Sunzu of French Ligue 1 cub Lille, the Israel-based duo of striker Evans Kangwa and left-back Emmanuel Mbola of Hapoel Ra’anana are due in Monday evening.

Midfielder Lubambo of Armenian club Gandzasar is also expected to join the team in time for Tuesday training.

The five joined the 13 home-based players who have been in camp for the last fortnight.

Meanwhile, Zambia held their first of two night time training sessions at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Monday where the game will be played at 6pm on March 23.

Congo lead Group E on 4 points, tied with Zambia but with a superior goal difference, after two rounds of games played.

Meanwhile, Congo are expected to arrive on Tuesday on a chartered flight from Brazzaville.
