ZCID schedules stakeholders summit

The Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) will from March 30th to March 31st 2016 hold a national democracy stakeholders summit.

ZCID board Chairperson Captain Walusiku Lyambela has told a media briefing that the aim of summit is to facilitate inter sectorial dialogue on politics and development in Zambia, and to solicit for creative, innovative and constructive ideas on strengthening the link between politics and development.

Captain Lyambela has since encouraged various stakeholders to participate in the democracy summit, saying it will go a long way in moving the country forward.

And Captain Lyambela says the call by President Edgar Lungu for the Catholic Church to facilitate dialogue between political parties is timely.
