Mr. Bwalya says his party does not also think that students that are on bursary will be failing to concentrate on studies now that the meal allowance has been scrapped off.

He says this is because even when the students were receiving these allowances, they still were spending more time on organizing riots and disturbance at the Universities.

Mr. Bwalya states that the ruling PF thus welcomes government’s decision to scrap off the students’ meal allowances.

He says it is a good equalization especially that other students that go to other Universities and colleges are not entitled to such meal allowances.
