Political analyst Neo Simutanyi has urged the Zambia Police to remain neutral in executing its mandate of maintaining law and order in the Country.

Dr. Simutanyi is concerned that currently the Police appear to be more lenient to members of the ruling party than to those belonging to the opposition whenever found wanting.
He has told Qfm News in a telephone interview that in a democracy like Zambia, law enforcement agencies such as the Police are expected to be none partisan.
Dr. Simutanyi adds that Police are expected to be fair and balanced in dealing with political parties in all aspects.
