Mpulungu’s Isoko Primary School Head teacher Ivor Mwewa has bemoaned the shortage of teachers and desks at the school.
Mr. Mwewa explains that the school only has 10 teachers against 735 pupils who have to share 84 desks.
He has however, expressed happiness that the school has been connected to the electricity grid which he says will help pupils especially in ICT lessons.
Mr. Mwewa says conducting examinations in the past had been a challenge and expensive as a lot of things had to be hired.
He is grateful that government is making efforts in raising the standards of the school.
