Exploration of Oil on track – Yaluma

Mines Minister Christopher Yaluma says exploration of oil and gas in Zambia is still on track.

Mr. Yaluma says there are currently 9 active licenses that government has awarded for exploration oil and gas in the Country.

He says the 9 licenses which date back to 2013 are in possession of 5 private companies.

Mr. Yaluma has told Qfm News the feedback that government is getting from the 5 companies is that they are getting closer to some interesting results.

He says it will not be long before the Country is reported to have found some deposit of gas.
